    • the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you;
    • the information is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency; or
    • the disclosure is otherwise authorized or required by law.
    If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy practices outlined in this policy.

  7. Maintaining Your Privacy When We Do Business Outside Our Organization
    It is sometimes necessary to provide personally identifiable information about you to a party outside our organization. An example is when we hire a vendor to provide support for one or more of our products or services. When we work with outside businesses or companies, we require them to safeguard your personal and confidential information. These vendors must also abide by applicable law.

    Certain transactions or documents, such as Deeds of Trust, are recorded with government agencies. This recorded information becomes public and may be accessed by vendors for marketing purposes. We cannot prevent access to the public archives.

    Pacific Crest Savings Bank may sell loans it originates to investors. These investors are also required to protect loan customers' personal and confidential information; however, occasionally the investors may share certain information with vendors, in order to provide you with special offers of financial products and services. If you wish not to be contacted by third parties, please use the information provided below. Pacific Crest Savings Bank does not sell our customer lists.

  8. Removal from Lists
    Pacific Crest Savings Bank only shares information about you as described in this privacy policy. If you wish to reduce the amount of national advertising you receive, you may notify the Direct Marketing Association. The Direct Marketing Association has no relation to Pacific Crest Savings Bank, but we have included the following addresses as a service to you so that you may request to be excluded from mailing lists.
